KITTY HOW-TO INSTRUCTION MANUAL: The Nap – a cat companion requirement

1350002569097 - Copy

One of the responsibilities of being a cat companion is the daily Nap. Relaxing on the couch or arm chair or futon should not be considered a luxury but a duty. The Nap gives your kitty a chance to bond with you, to lie on you, or to ignore you as he or she sees fit. It is an opportunity to share in an activity- or in this case, an in-activity with your cat.

No, bed time doesn’t count as the Nap. It’s not the same thing. Bed is bed, nap is nap.

Look into your kitty’s eyes as she stares at you from across the room. Don’t those golden globes just beckon come hither? Don’t you want to curl up, close your own eyes and let little purrs lull you to a few minutes in dreamland? Go for it; you know you want to.

And remember, the Nap comes highly recommended by experts on the subject: your cat.
