Lynley Cannon, star of the Crazy Cat Lady cozy mystery series, is often referred to as a crazy cat lady herself, but when it comes to the feline species, she knows her stuff. Check here each Friday for instructive and intriguing information on our favorite subject: cats.
Cat behaviorists suggest we play with our cats for at least ten minutes a day. A little one-on-one time with a string or a toy can keep kitty happy and healthy, to say nothing of our furniture, our breakables and our plants. ~Copy Cats, chapter 13

We have playtime every night for about 30 minutes and with 9 of us it is busy, but fun!
Very exciting. What are their favorite toys?
Thank you for sharing! Our human tries to play with us at least once a day, but we became quite lazy. We, not she. We’ve to admit that she’s really making an effort, but we’re normally too lazy to chase toys. That being said, she does something called “clicker training” twice a day with us. We dunno if it’s counted as play time, but we like it because we get treats. 😀
Our human wanted to thank you for always visiting our blog. She’s grateful that you commented today because now she finally remembered to add your blog to our feedly list.
I think clicker training counts.
My cats have always enjoyed playing with their cat scratcher, and they also love being brushed with special cat brushes. I agree it’s important to keep cats happy.
That’s a good idea, to combine play and grooming.
