What’s new?
There is a new Crazy Cat Lady Cozy Mystery on the near horizon. I don’t yet have a publishing date, but I am aiming for October 29, 2020, National Cat Day. For the past several years, I have released a CCL mystery on this date. It’s a tradition I will try to uphold, barring asteroid strikes, alien invasions, or any other weirdness 2020 sees fit to throw at us. Meanwhile, we have a cover to reveal!
Cat Conundrum, 7th in the series, takes our hero Lynley Cannon out to the wild Washington Coast where she is confronted with a series of murders so cunning, even she cannot guess the true nature of the crimes. Not only do the victims have nothing in common; the murders themselves are committed in different fashions. The only detail they share is that the murder room is always locked from the inside. Quite a conundrum, don’t you think?
Oh, and yes, there is a cat.
Here is the first peek at the Cat Conundrum cover. Those of you who know me can guess two things without even seeing it: the artwork will be done by cat artist Leslie Cobb; and it will picture a cat. Can you guess the rest? Go to Leslie’s website and look at her beautiful work.
Contest!
To celebrate the coming of Cat Conundrum, I’m giving away a unique cat item, a Cat Lady License Plate Frame.
For a chance to win, email me at molliehuntcatwriter@gmail.com and put Contest, License Plate Frame in the subject line. Tyler the cat will choose the winner at random from the entries received. Please, only those with addresses in the USA can enter because of postage constraints.
Stay Tuned…
I had fun scribbling in my Paint program. I’m not very good at it yet, but at least it’s colorful, don’t you think? Watch for more hints about the coming Cat Conundrum cover!
Very cool, the cat is already covered and we know who did it!
Fun stuff!
I see two blue ears over on the right. I’d say it’s pretty clever conceptual feline artwork. I hve to catch up with your books too!
He-he.
Every book needs a cat! Especially cozy mysteries
My thoughts exactly.
