We’ve got an affiliate program that I think would do great on you site – our average order is $500, with some orders being several thousand dollar for larger projects. While I have heard that Purrfect Fence is a good product and even considered buying one myself, I can’t endorse anything on my blog that I haven’t personally tested. If you want to give me one of your fences to see how I like it, and understand that I will share only my true feelings about it, please feel free.
I am allowing this comment to be published on my blog because you have a good reputation, but that is in no way an endorsement.
I was just clicking around and just an FYI that link no longer goes anywhere. I was curious and I was able to find the site though, its https://www.purrfectfence.com/
Thanks for keeping me updated.
A new website? https://www.purrfectfence.com/
You and your blog are awesome 🙂 How I love cats (and all other furry animals)! I myself have a very fuzzily rotund one named Samantha. Anyway, I’m glad I found your blog! Take care 🙂 -phoebe
I’m now following yours as well. Thanks.
Thanks for following my blog! We have some interests in common: cat lover, animal advocate, and writer. My husband and I are Star Trek fans too, at least of the original series and the movies. You’ve picked good words to live by.
Good to meet you.
Hi Mollie,
My name is Mad Talt with Clean Healthy Products. I am reaching out because I love your blog and would love to send you a sample for a review.
We are a disposable, compostable, and eco-friendly pet bowl that is perfect for owners traveling or simply looking to protect their pets from the bacteria that is often lurking in pet bowls! (45% of pet bowls have E. Coli, Salmonella, and/or Yeast/Mold, 75% of pet bowls still had Salmonella after scrubbing with soap and water and 67% of pet bowls still had Salmonella after being washed by a dishwasher!) It is made out of the part of wheat that is typically thrown away after harvest so in the production alone, we are recycling! I can provide you a ton more facts, but I think our products are necessary for pet health particularly when feeding multiple pets.
I would love to provide a free sample for you to review or send you more information if you are interested.
Please let me know by emailing me at madtalt@cleanhealthypets.com
Thanks for your time,
Madeline Talt

I’ve just recently found your site. It’s lovely and I’m enjoying reading the bits, parts and pieces. I’ve just finished reading the entire postings of your time with Lux. I remember hearing about him on the TV news back when it occurred. Being a cat person myself (I have a small herd) I was curious as to what finally happened with him. The last post on Lux was in March, 2015. Was it ever determined what exactly was causing his outbursts? Is he still alive? How is he doing? Did they finally come to a medication that could keep him calm? Was he ever able to live a “normal” cat life?
Have you seen him?
Thanks so much for your interest in Lux. Check out my post, “Lux News From Two New Sources,” (https://wp.me/p3rtQm-Qr) from November of last year. Thankfully Mr. Galaxy promised I would always be a part of Lux’s life and though I haven’t seen him for a while, I get reports now and then. As for your questions: No, they never could pinpoint the exact reason for his outbursts though they did discern some of the triggers. PTSD is considered. Yes! he is still alive and happy. He is not on any medication because for the most part, he is just like any other cat and lives a normal cat life. I have not personally seen him since 2015, but I have friends who have.
Thank your for your response about Lux. I was on the BOD for local SPCA in Las Vegas for the better part of 15 yrs. We took many cats in who suffered from various types of trauma, but never one as you described like Lux. These cats would ot survive in a shelter situation and so they always came home with me. In many of these cases it was a “long hard row to hoe” but eventually they came to trust and love again to the point of being able to be placed in their fur-ever homes. I checked back on them every few weeks for about a year or so after their placement. Time, patience and love. I’m no longer with the SPCA, but cats seem to “find” me. I have one LARGE (18#) ginger ex-street fighting fella who found his way into my garage four years ago. It took a good six months just to get him to let me pet his head. Another six months for full petting when I was able to pick him up, get him in a carrier and to the vet. He lives inside now and sleeps on the foot of my bed. We “hit a mile stone” last Thanksgiving. He began kneading on my leg and then a few days later allowed me to give him a belly rub! I think I’m “in”!! 🙂 Another fella showed up in the garage a couple of months ago. We’re working on it! He’s learned his name and comes when I call. No petting yet. But we’ll get there!
Thank you for your web site. I enjoy reading your posts and posts from others.
Sandy
Great work, Sandy!
Molly,
I have a question. I know you’ve written several books, I’ve not read them yet but plan to in the near future. I’ve put in an order at my local bookstore for “Cat Call: and “Cat’s Cradle”. They should be in soon. I’ve written several “short” stories about my cats. (Actually I’m not sure what constitutes a “short” story–one of them is about 16 pages long, so it’s not “exactly” short.) I’d like to share them with folks but don’t know how/where to do this. Two of them are actually the same story–but from two different viewpoints. First, from mine–the rescuer and the second from the cat’s point of view. As a writer, I’m sure you know how difficult it is to “write/think like a cat”. They of course would not know the labels/names we hoomans give to things, so a sliding door would be a “see thru wall” and a shower would be a “see thru box where it rains”. Several others tell the stories of how and why the various fur-persons came into my life and how each changed me over the last 30 years of being associated with cats. Prior, I was a “dog” person! Now, I have some of each. As you know, they all have their own personalities and their own stories and IF we are very lucky and very attentive they will share some of their “stories” with us.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Sandy
Congratulations on your writing. A good place to share stories is a blog. Following other similar blogs and social media can give you ideas. I self-published my work on Amazon, and you can do that too. Make sure you get your work professionally edited first. Everything else you can do yourself.
This isn’t the best place to hold this conversation. My author’s facebook page would be more appropriate. https://www.facebook.com/MollieHuntCatWriter/
Best of luck.
Hi! What a cool site! I’m the owner and editor of SAVANNAHGANS® – THE International Savannah Cat Magazine and am always looking for article contributors on behavior and health. My publication is FREE! Let me know if you’d be interested in collaborating with me!
Thanks for asking, however I am a fiction writer and maintain my blogsite for fun.
